#8922-GEMEINDEN  POLICE JUNIOR NCO COLLAR TABS: Seldom seen, example pair of the collar tabs worn by “Junior” ranked NCOs of the Gemeinden Polizei. These have the  “tobacco” brown Litzen with Bordeaux red strips on a backing patch of Bordeaux red wool with aluminum piping. These were for ranks up to Revier--Oberwachtmeister and used up until 1941. In 1942, the Gemeinden Police itself was absorbed into the Schutzpolizei and their Bordeaux color was put out of service. Both tabs are 100% identical in both materials and construction, but the Litzen on the left side tab is slightly darker. (possibly from soiling). The tabs show light wear with couple of real tiny pinheads (Hardly noticeable). Condition II-  $45.00 Pr.
