WINTER SERVICE CAP:
Wartime, issue example of the heavyweight fur winter cap
as mainly worn in the East. It is produced of field grey
uniform wool having fur covered flaps. These flaps
retain 95% of their mixed grey & brown rabbit fur and
secure with two grey HBT tapes on the top.. The front
flap has the typical aluminum Heer cap eagle that
is attached by and complete with all three of its
prongs. The interior of the cap has a quilted, grey
rayon insulated lining with RBN and size 57
stampings. The cap shows little wear and mmior age,
