#8140-WEHRMACHT GASMASK AND CANISTER: Clean example of a wartime issue, M38 pattern gasmask. It is of grey green rubber and complete with head harness and neck strap. It is size marked (2) and has an embossed makers mark inside the mask. It is complete with an FE 41 filter that retains 95% of its original paint and some faded stampings. The canister retains about 70% of its field grey finish with a few rubs and areas of paint loss. It is complete with both shoulder and belt hook strap which are of fairly well matched webbing. The interior is complete with a set of spare lenses and bottom spring with original cleaning cloth. The interior lense compartment is marked DMB 1940 ( Schroder kg Ludwig fabric). The gasmask appears unused with minor wrinkles and missing a rivet on the pull tab while the canister shows finish wear and age. Condition I- / II-  $185.00 Set.
