#8016-KRIEGSMARINE LEATHER UNIFORM: Issue pattern, protective two-piece leather uniform as worn by vessel based Kriegsmarine enlisted ranks. The jacket is produced in black leather having a stand up collar, five-button front, upper breast / lower hip pockets and button adjustable cuffs. The buttons are of the anchor type and retain about 70% of their original gilt finish. Its interior is fully lined with black insulated (blanket) wool with pinstriped black rayon inside the sleeves. This interior has an inside pocket and machine sewn issue label. The trousers are in matching black leather, but remain slightly less worn. They have two side pockets, a rear sizing belt and black fiber brace buttons. The interior is fully lined in grey cotton twill that also retains an issue label dated 1941. The front exterior still retains a nice, large embossed Kriegsmarine issue eagle. Both pieces remain supple, with some surface wear and age mainly to the jacket. The jacket also has a replaced button on each cuff with soiling and wear to the labels. A nice set, condition III+/II+  $825.00
