INFANTRY NCO M36 SHOULDER BOARDS:
Interesting, pre-war example set is in the M36 pattern
of dark green wool with white wool piping. Of the sew in
type, they have machine applied aluminum Tresse
with rank upgrades evident by the lower strip of neatly
hand applied Tresse & metal pip indicating a
Feldwebel. The boards are of the slightly wider
design as used for three digit designations, in this
case the 117th. Infantry Regiment (111th.
Infantry Division.).
The boards show use with minor wear and some age toning.
