STAHLHELM VISO CAP:
Interesting, early 1930’s period example of the uniform
visor cap worn by members of Der Jungstahlhelm
–the junior branch of this Nationalist Veterans
organization. This private purchase example is a
"crusher" style of grey toned, field grey wool doeskin
having a cap band & piping of grey green wool
badgecloth. The front has National and Prussian
Kokardes with the pin on sword badge of the
Jungstahlhelm. The front is completed by a civil
style chincord and visor of black patent leather. The
interior has a full lining of purple cotton which never
had a diamond and is complete with full sweatband of
brown leather. This sweatband has a Stahlhelm
acceptance stamping on the reverse. The cap shows use
and age, having areas of wear, age toning and a few
scattered (but small) moth nips. Condition III+ $425.00
