#4763-GERMAN 1930’s CONSTRUCTION TOY SET: An interesting, pre war construction toy called “Mein Bester Freund” (my best friend). The 8 by 5-1/2 inch two piece box has a full color illustration on its lid and has a pre 1945 DR patent number. The reverse of this lid has a series of line drawings illustrating the various items that can be constructed. These include various artillery pieces and an armored car. The set itself appears complete with various wooden sections, wheels, dowels and black rubber connectors. The box shows light surface wear and age toning while the contents show minor age.
