DB72 & DB73-WEST GERMAN MEDALS: Interesting and elaborate medals as awarded for civil events in 1977 & 1980. These are actually uncommon than wartime medals, both of these show some wear and age, Condition II+

DB72-WALKING EVENT MEDAL-Large Military looking medal measures almost three inches round with Bundes Tri-color ribbon and pin back clasp. The cross has the motto "from the rocks to the sea" denoting I would imagine a very long walk ! $10.00

DB73-OWL MEDAL- A perched owl with a rat in its mouth  with the word Freigericht (free Court) on the pinback bar. Not sure if this was awarded for legal work or an Owl competition as both involve "rats". Complete with Bundes tri-color ribbon $5.00
