#5871-WEHRMACHT UNDER TUNIC SHIRT:
Pre war example of the simple, collarless long sleeve
shirt worn under tunics by a variety of uniformed
organizations. The long tailed shirt is produced in
white knit rayon/cotton having a four button front
opening and button close cuffs. The collar, front panel
and cuff ends are reinforced with white cotton cloth.
The buttons are of the cloth-covered type. Has worn ink
markings at base of the hem. These types of shirts were
known for losing their shape after washing. This example
appears unissued although somewhat dusty from storage.
