#11837-WEHRMACHT OFFICERS SERVICE BELT:
A scarce and interesting example of the standard
Officers pattern service belt as worn by most uniformed
services. The black leather belt has an aluminum
colored, pebbled two-prong buckle (Reichspatent
marked on reverse) that is fully adjustable through a
series of holes. In the so-called “cheater” style, this
buckle slides on the belt and attaches to the opposite
end via a small metal clip on the reverse. In this way
it is easier to wear and gives the outward appearance of
a standard belt with fixed buckle. The belt has a brown
leather reverse, nickel end clip and is size marked. It
measures 50 inches in length and would adjust from a
waist size 39 to 46. The leather remains supple with
minor surface wear (mainly to the reverse) and some rust
