#10263-OFFICERS UNDER TUNIC SHIRT:
Good example of this fine quality, private purchase
shirt. In the pre-war style worn under the tunic, the
shirt is produced from heavy, knit Egyptian cotton, a
luxury in Germany at the time. The collarless shirt is
long sleeved having a front sash that closes with three
buttons. This sash, the button close cuffs and collar
are all reinforced with white cotton tape. The buttons
are of the cloth-covered type. The interior collar still
retains a machine-sewn label denoting that the shirt is
indeed Egyptian cotton. The shirt shows use with surface
wear and scattered snags that appear to be from the
wearing of suspenders. The white cotton has also toned
with age. Condition III+ $125.00 |
