#12004-WEHRMACHT MEMORIAL WALL PLAQUE: Interesting plaque that memorializes a 21 year old soldier of an unknown service. Produced from heavy earthenware, it is glazed in a dark orange and measures 5-1/2 wide by 8-1/2 inches long. It depicts the years of birth and death with runic symbols along with an oak leaf border and bayonet at the bottom.The plaque is pre 1945 as denoted by the large Iron Cross with swastika. The unglazed reverse has a hanger hole along with the unknown marking of "K 5". These types of plaques were typically hung in the homes of the soldiers family. The front shows some light soiling,  minor surface wear and a couple of tiny chips. Condition II+ $245.00
