#7731-WEHRMACHT  MEDICAL WATER BOTTLE: Well-used example of the larger size, shoulder mounted water bottle carried by Medical Personnel. The one-liter bottle is of aluminum with the correct brown wool cover and brown leather cross harness. The aluminum cup retains about 40% of its black painted finish. The bottle and cup are marked to different makers but both dated 1940.  It shows a lot of use and wear, missing its lower stud, upper bottle cap and shoulder strap. The wool cover is in good shape with a few minor moth nips and black leather tabs (one broken) a good representative example of this hard to find bottle or for parts. Condition III+/IV- $40.00
