#11186-WEHRMACHT MARCHING BOOTS:
Pre 1939 quality, standard style marching boots as
employed by all uniformed organizations. Generally used
by enlisted and NCO personnel these black boots have
stiff leather shafts being 16 inches tall from the base
of the heel. The interior shaft has wide pull-tabs of
thick webbing on each side as well as a leather hang
tab. The correctly pegged soles have a full compliment
of hob- nails with a front toe plate. The heels have the
added feature of stud nails used in place of the heel
iron. These studs are of the type usually encountered on
the Mountain boots but surely added traction when worn
in this manner. The boots remain in solid condition with
some wear, age and light surface crazing, These boots
would complete any uniform display but given their
rarity in this condition they should not be worn.
