#12620-WEHRMACHT MAP TOOL CASE: Good example of the canvas pouch typically carried with the map case that contained map gauges and/or overlays. Produced from thick  grey-green sailcloth, it has fold down flap secured by two black snaps. It has the stenciled designation K.W.27 (Model 27 Map angle gauge). Under this flap is a small outside compartment while the main interior section has a divider and lining of grey flannel cloth. It retains two clear, acetate map gauges but lacks the smaller gauge. Shows light age with surface wear and cloudiness to the two gauges. Condition II-
