#6511-WEHRMACHT MANEUVERS HELMET BAND:
Scarce example of the simplified version of the 1936
pattern helmet band that was worn during war training &
maneuvers. It is about 1-1/2 inches in width being of
woven cotton-rayon blended tape, red on one side and
yellow on the other. For easier adjustment, it has a
10mm seamed section of perfectly matched elastic at the
rear (earlier versions had a metal buckle) For further
securing it is fitted with three small aluminum clips
that are attached to elasticized tabs. Has a few minor
ink stains and shows minor age, Condition II- $65.00 |
