#11281-DON COSSACKS NATIONALITY BADGE: Fairly scarce, unused example of the special sleeve shield worn by the members of the 1^st and 5^th brigades of the Don Cossacks. It is in the later war, printed style of red, blue and dark green on thin white cotton cloth. The top carries the Cyrillic letters VD (Voysko Donskoye) and is less common than the standard “DON” versions. It remains unfolded with the top portion neatly cut away. Condition II+ $65.00 .
