#3238-WEHRMACHT  ARTILLERY RUCKSACK: Fine, mid-war example of the simple M40 pattern rucksack as prescribed for non-mounted personnel. It is produced of olive green cotton canvas having sets of leather attachment tabs on its sides. The flap closes with a single leather strap and is complete with upper metal loop. The two- compartment interior is complete with its original cotton cord drawstring. Its reverse has both leather straps, one buckling and the other with a “quick release” hook & loop closure.. The rear leather reinforcement has an embossed RBN marking. Shows wear to the leather as well as age and a few minor snags to the canvas body. Condition II-$75.00
