#11347-VOLKSDEUTSCHE SLEEVE EAGLE: Scarce example of the special sleeve eagle as worn by Ethnic Germans belonging to the Freiwillige Schutzstaffel  in Slovakia. This self-protection organization was based on the Allgemeine SS and this third pattern eagle was strongly influenced by that of the S.S. This example is of silver grey machine embroidery on a backing of brown wool badgecloth, being of the type worn on reissued Slovak Army uniforms which were Khaki colored. It shows use with some areas of edge fraying and surface soiling. Condition III+ $225.00
