#12617-TRANSPORT GRUPPE SPEER /  TODT  OFFICERS FIELD CAP: Fine example of this extremely rare M43 pattern field cap as worn by an Officer of the Wehrmacht associated Transportgruppe Speer. It is produced of an olive brown wool uniform cloth having aluminum piping around the crown. The front has a machine sewn, BeVo woven brown trapezoid above a functional front flap secured by two aluminum, pebbled buttons. The sides have zinc ventilation grommets along with loops of matching lining cloth under the folds. The interior has a lining of brown rayon cloth being complete with partial front sweatband of brown leather. This lining is complete with 1944 dated RBN'd makers stamp and size 57 marking.  The cap shows  little use and appears unissued with only a minor bend to the visor. The only such example that I have ever encountered, Condition I- $1050.00
