#13063-S.S. 1933 PATTERN DAGGER:
A nice example of a later period 1933 pattern SS dagger
that appears to have been subjected to some heavy
cleaning. The grained black wood grip fits well and is
complete with rune button and nickel eagle & nickel
cross guards. The blade is currently bright but shows
signs of heavy polishing, which has worn down and taken
the darkening out of the motto as well as virtually
removing the RZM makers code on the reverse. This blade
has also been re-tipped and thus shortened by about a
1/3 of an inch. The steel scabbard retains about 85% of
its black painted finish having nickel plated steel
fittings and ring. There are several chips to the paint
as well as heavy oxidation to some of the edges of the
fittings. A fine representation of this desirable dagger
and priced right. Condition III- SOLD |
