#10418-REICHSPOST SERVICE ARMBAND: Interesting example of the service armband worn mainly by Female and Youth Auxiliaries working on behalf of the German National Postal Services. The armband is of gold machine embroidery on a thin, dark blue cotton (scarce as these are usually of wool) The armband measures nearly 16 inches in length and is complete with original safety pin on the reverse. This arrangement allowed for the armband to be custom fitted for whatever garment it was worn on. Shows some surface wear and light soiling. Condition II-
