#7552-REICHSBAHN OFFICIALS VISOR CAP: Nice example of the transitional pattern visor cap as worn by a lower level State Railroad Official. The saddle shaped cap has a dark blue wool crown with simulated piping and black velvet band having red wool piping. The front has the small, pre-1936 Reichsbahn pattern eagle in dark gilt above a plain national Kokarde. It has a gold flecked, dark blue chin cord for the paygroup 17a-12 being secured by 2 dark gilt, pebbled buttons. The interior is in the typical civil service, "budget" construction having an unlined top and sides lined in tan gauze. It is complete with a full sweatband of brown leather than shows some spots of wear. The cap shows  light wear with no mothing except for a tiny spot on the center of the Kokarde.
