example of the 1st. Pattern armband for
Hauswart members of the RLB (
Reichsluftschutzbund ) this type was worn with work
uniforms and/or civil clothing. In woven cotton
construction, it has the RLB starburst with dark
blue Swastika on a dark blue background. Both edges have
machine applied, bright aluminum tresse along
with a woven BeVo makers mark on the reverse
seam. Remains very clean with only a minor amount of age
