#8861-R.A.D. WARTIME SLEEVE SHIELD: Unissued example of the 1943 pattern National shield as worn by R.A.D. enlisted and NCO ranks. It is of BeVo woven construction in white & brown and correctly without unit designation. These were worn in conjunction with a separate unit patch to designate assignment during the last years of the war. This example remains uncut with woven RAD control marking at lower edge.
