#11992-R.A.D. SERVICE PHOTO ALBUM: Typical private purchase album as sold to RAD members to record their time serving in the Reichsarbeitsdienst. The album measures about 10" wide by 7-1/2 " high having a grey green oilcloth cover with silver embossed RAD badge to the left corner. It contains 46 various sized B&W photos centering around a work camp and the life within. The first page actually has an unused BeVo district shield glued on, this shield is the one seen in wear in almost all of the images. This is a fairly early album showing some shots with the men wearing FAD uniforms & headgear. Pictures of the original owners Officers are nicely arranged and labeled. Other subjects include Parades, guard duty, barracks like and rifle training with helmets. The book also comes with several loose documents that also belonged to the original owner.
