#12784-R.A.D. SUMMER FIELD CAP: Scarce example of the lightweight cap as typically worn in the field and on fatigue duties by enlisted & NCO ranks of the Reichsarbeitsdienst. Produced from a Wehrmacht shade of reed grey HBT cloth it is in the M41 style cut having a simulated flap. The front has a standard, machine woven RAD cap badge that is machine applied and above a split pin pebbled button as commonly worn on these caps. The interior has a lining of brown cotton twill that retains RBN and size 57 markings. This well used example shows wear, soiling, a bend in the visor, a small patch repair on the visor underside and some wrinkles. Still a sharp looking cap in Condition III+ $485.00
