#5862-POLICE OFFICERS SERVICE TUNIC: A fine example of a private quality tunic as worn by an Officer of the Schutzpolizei. In the M36 Waffenrock pattern it is of police "green" wool trikot having a dark brown wool collar, cuffs and grass green piping throughout. The hand embroidered collar tabs and Officers sleeve eagle are nicely machine applied. The matching Oberleutnant shoulder boards are of bright aluminum braid with a single gilt pip over an underlay of grass green wool. These boards are of the slip on variety and may be a period tailor upgrade to accommodate service use. The left chest has sets of loops for a long ribbon bar and two badges on the pocket. It's interior is fully lined with green rayon cloth with pin striped rayon inside the sleeves. This interior is furnished with an inside breast pocket, two rear skirt pockets, a cloth waist belt and edged weapons slot. The tunic shows use having surface wear, some small scattered snags, age tone to the insignia and a split corner to one of the pips. A solid tunic in Condition II+ $895.00
