#10635-POSTAL PROTECTION POLICE SLEEVE INSIGNIA: Very rare set of sleeve insignias as worn by members of the Postschutz (Postal Protection service). It consists of two separate pieces of insignia, one is the scarcer version of the sleeve badge (with the title Post-schutz) in BeVo construction on a backing of field grey. The Other is a cuff title for the Postschutz in BeVo red-orange on a dark blue band. The cuff title was typically worn in occupied areas. The Postschutz was a small Police organization that numbered fewer than 5,000 men, in 1942 it was absorbed by the SS and renamed the SS-Postschutz, insignia from the organization is therefore quite scarce. The sleeve badge is unissued and uncut but does show age and tiny glue stains to its corners. The cuff title is off a tunic and remains seamed with light surface wear. Condition II+ $1250.00
