TROUSERS:
Near mint, example pair of straight leg trousers as
issued to Police personnel. These mid war trousers were
standard wear with a variety of tunics and used by all
branches. They are produced from a pleasing shade of
Police green uniform wool with a button fly, two side
hip pockets and a horizontal watch pocket with metal
ring. The rear is complete with split opening having a
large cloth sizing strap and a button close pocket. It's
exterior waist is complete with all of its brace buttons
of black composition. The interior waistband is
partially lined in grey rayon cloth having pocket bags
of grey cotton twill. This interior is nicely marked
with maker, 1943 issue/size and Police acceptance
stampings. These desirable trousers show no evidence of
wear, remaining clean and free of any damage. Condition
