#10953-PARA-MILITARY LACE UP BOOTS: Private purchase, period short boots are of good quality black leather having a combination of lacing holes and hooks. They have leather soles (has worn markings) that exhibit the correct pegged construction. The cotton lined interiors of both are stamped with a serial number and what appears to be a 1942 date. They are complete with their original laces and appear to be about a size 10. These type were often worn by uniformed personnel, to include the Wehrmacht with long trousers.
