#12316-ORGANIZATION
TODT
SERVICE TUNIC:
A fine and scarce example of the service blouse as worn
by lower ranked
members of the Organization Todt, the
construction service under Heer command. The
blouse, the style of which was influenced by the
Luftwaffe Fliegerbluse is produced of golden brown
uniform wool. It has an open collar, closes with four
pebbled buttons, has lower flapped hip pockets and
adjustable cuffs. It is complete with machine applied "OT"
collar diamonds and titled armband tacked to the left
sleeve. It is without provisions for shoulder straps as
was correct for early and lower ranked tunics. The
interior is partially lined with smooth, tan colored
rayon cloth having rear adjustment ties & inside breast
and wound bandage pockets. This lining retains maker and
Org Todt approval stampings. The tunic remains in
fine condition with only minor wear and age. Condition
