#10368-N.S.D.A.P. POLITICAL LEADERS BELT AND BUCKLE: Later war period example of the brown service belt worn by N.S.D.A.P. Political leaders at all levels. This interesting example originally had an open face buckle and was professionally reworked to allow it to accept the round style buckle. The belt is of “havana” brown leather being 47 inches in length with embossed RZM mark on the reverse. The wartime buckle is of the solid cast alloy type with RZM marking on the reverse and retaining 90% of its gilt finish. The buckle is fitted to the original prong openings while the matching keeper is stitched into the position of the old buckle. This interesting example shows wear and age with a few surface stains.
