#8324-N.S.D.A.P. REICHS  LEVEL SERVICE CAP: Very scarce example of this Political pattern service cap in the style of the Bergmutze. It is produced of brown wool Trikot having golden yellow wool crown piping.  It has a gilt metal, NSDAP 1939 pattern eagle above its functional front flap that secures with plain brown composition buttons. The interior is lined with polished brown cotton and complete with a full sweatband of brown Presstoff. The cap retains a stamped size marking (54) as well as an RZM label behind the sweatband. Most likely intended for wear by a Reichs level political leader, it could have also been worn by a cadre member of the Ordensburgen. The cap shows little wear with only minor age and some creases to the interior sweatband. Condition II+ $2400.00
