#11292-LUFTWAFFE STABSGEFREITER CHEVRON:
Scarce variant example of this sleeve chevron as
introduced in early 1944 for the rank of
Stabsgefreiter. It consists of two separately
machine applied strips of grey rayon Luftwaffe
pattern tresse with a matching machine
embroidered pip. It is on a backing of white HBT cloth
having a reinforced reverse of white gauze. Type as worn
on various drill and work garments. It appears unissued
