#7761-LUFTWAFFE  BREAD BAG: Well-used wartime example of the 1931 pattern breadbag as used by Luftwaffe personnel.. It is produced of blue-grey cotton canvas having two buttoned belt loops and a stabilizing tab made of the same cloth. The front flap has two aluminum“D” rings, a leather bridle (lacking the other) and two shoulder strap attachment rings on the reverse-all of the leather fittings are in dark brown. The interior is complete with all straps, being a little bent but still supple and intact.. It also retains its three interior dished buttons in aluminum and faded markings under the flap. This “salty” bag shows a fair amount of use with wear, soiling and some age to the leather. Condition III+ $45.00
