#8928-KRIEGSMARINE WINTER-SUMMER  EM / NCO "DONALD DUCK" CAP: Nice example set of the issue style sailors cap complete with both removable covers. The cap frame is produced of blue wool over an inner band of celluloid. It is complete with full sweatband  of brown leather (has owners name on reverse) and cloth covered front prop with stamped size marking. It has a BeVo woven "Kriegsmarine" tally that is properly attached with cord loops having  21 inch long tails at the rear. The winter top is of dark blue uniform wool having a two piece insignia of a gilt Kriegsmarine pin on eagle and Kokarde. The interior has a top  lining of black cotton marked with size, original owners name and complete with removable wire stiffener. The Summer top is of white cotton having the same two piece insignia as the blue top. It is unlined and without the wire frame.  The set shows some light use with a few bends to the inside cap band and some surface soiling to the white top (easily cleaned) a hard to find set in Condition II+ $1100.00 set.
