#10636-IMPERIAL GERMAN WOUND BADGE IN SILVER:
Nice, clean example of the 1914 pattern wound badge in
the silver class as awarded for up to five wounds. The
unmarked badge is of stamped steel construction having a
blue toned finish. The reverse is complete with thin,
steel needle style pin and soldered catch. This award
was authorized for wear during the Third Reich and such
versions continued in private purchase production during
the 1930’s. Shows light patina with surface wear and
minor rust on the reverse hinge. Condition II- $65.00 |
