#13121-IMPERIAL PRUSSIAN JAEGER ZU PFERDE
ENLISTED M16 KRATZCHEN:
scarce example of the Einheits Mutze as
introduced in 1916 to replace the brighter colored caps
for camouflage purposes. It is entirely produced of
grey-green uniform wool including the band and crown
piping. The front has hand tacked, enlisted style
Prussian and National Kokardes. Its interior is
lined with off-white canvas retaining stamped 1916 date
and markings for the replacement company - Jaeger Zu
Pferde (Mounted Light Infantry). Shows signs
of minor wear with a small hole to the left side,
