#6096-IMPERIAL WORLD WAR ONE FELDPOST CARD: Outstanding, original example of this classic postcard that is seen in many History books. Measuring 5-1/2 by 3-1/4 inches, the card is printed in full color, although in very somber tones. It depicts a helmeted storm trooper with gasmask & grenade bags surrounded by barbed wire with text promoting war loans. The reverse has a hand written address and short message with a Feldpost cancellation stamp of March 1917. It is also stamped on front and back with Saxon labor Office cashier stamps as well as a faded mail permit stamp in the upper right corner. The card is in very good shape with only minor toning,Condition II+
