#12919-IMPERIAL BRANDENBURG INFANTRY REGIMENT
20 SHOULDER STRAPS:
A scarce pair of dress shoulder straps as worn by a
war volunteer serving in the 20th Infantry regiment
(Count Tauentzien Of Wittenberg/3rd.
Brandenburg). The sew-in straps are lightly
stiffened being of red wool with hand embroidered
numerals and black & white twisted Prussian piping (
volunteer). They are complete with original gilt
buttons with embossed unit number 9. The reverse of
the straps is faced in dark blue uniform cloth. They
show age with some areas of moth damage, luckily
confined to the reverse of one strap and not visible
