1917 period enlisted shoulder straps in the simplified
form without piping. In the sew-in style, they are of
rough field grey uniform wool with large red
chainstitch numerals for the 13th. Infantry
Regiment (Westphalia). The reverse is in the Ersatz
style seamed construction. Shows use with wear, age
