#11022-HITLER YOUTH LANDJAHR IDENTIFICATION BOOKLET GROUPING: Very interesting two-piece grouping consisting of an H.J Landjahr membership I.D booklet and a small manual from the R.D.Kl. (National Association of small animal breeders). The Landjahr program sought to introduce urban youth to the rural fields of Agriculture. The 5-1/2 by 3-3/4 inch I.D. booklet is fairly early (The program was begun in 1934) and is for a 13-year-old boy enrolled from April till September (Likely during a summer school break) it has a nice B&W photo in HJ summer uniform along with three HJ stampings. The front cover has two punched holes that were most likely used to keep the booklet inside a dossier. The small R.D.Kl. manual is on Beekeeping and is the original companion with this I.D. booklet, it suggests that this youth was training as a Beekeeper during his time in the Country. Both show age and light wear, with some minor creasing to the covers and toning to the pages. Still in good solid shape, Condition II-
