#6099-WEHRMACHT STRAIGHT LEG TROUSERS: Fine, early war period, private purchase example trousers as worn by all ranks of the Heer and Waffen S.S. In the straight leg style, they are produced of field grey wool trikot having pressed pleats. The front has two side seam pockets with stylized stitching along with a horizontal watch pocket with metal ring. The rear is complete with split opening having a large cloth sizing strap and a button close pocket. The exterior waistband is complete with all of its brace buttons of brown composition. The interior waistband is in ersatz style having a multi-sectional, partial lining of stripped broadcloths, grey cotton twill and rayon cloth. Each lower cuff has an interior-lining band of grey rayon to reduce friction and wear. This hard to find example pair remains in good condition, having only minor wear and a few tiny snags, mainly to the bottom cuff area. Condition II+ $
