#10790-HEER PHOTO ALBUM HELMET DECORATION: A most interesting example of a small decorative Stahlhelm as typically used on the covers of Heer "service time" photo albums. Measuring 2-1/2 inches across, it is of thin stamped sheet steel having an aluminum finish. It is finely detailed with a blackened Heer decal, ventilation hole and even rivets. The reverse lacks the original thin, flat prongs with the solder points still visible. A extremely hard to find component to replace on a photo album which sometimes have these removed (Can easily be glued back on) Shows some age and surface wear, Condition II- $40.00
