#11040-HEER WEHRPASS FOR OFFICER:
Nice example of a 1938 issued Wehrpass to a 45
year old Heer Construction Reserve Officer. It is
complete with rivet-attached photo in civilian clothes
along with many entries and stampings. Unit stamps
indicate service at the Heer Pioneer School and
various staff positions with construction battalions.
Found in the inside pocket is a conscription document
and two small B&W photos of a young Coastal Artillery
soldier, presumed to be the Officer’s son. It appears
that this booklet was used and archived after the war as
there are binder holes on the spine as well as most (but
not all) of the swastikas of the stamps/cover inked
over. An interesting and unique marking is that of the
U.S. 385th Infantry noting the man as
“Non-Wehrmacht”-Possibly indicating he worked on
construction projects during the occupation. Shows age,
some creasing and surface wear. Condition III+ $110.00 |
