#11824-HEER OFFICERS BROCADE BELT, BUCKLE AND AIGUILLETTE: Fine example set of dress accoutrements as worn by Heer Officers in its original storage box. The brocade belt is woven in bright aluminum with two dark green stripes and a reverse lining of grey cotton twill. This belt has a permanently attached buckle and keeper with the leather adjustment strap and slides neatly removed (I assume by the original owner).Thus the belt fits a size 38/39”waist. The buckle itself is of the typical stamped, two piece aluminum construction and unmarked on the reverse. The Aiguillette is produced of woven aluminum cords being complete with button tab, all slings and aluminum finished Ferrules. Both accessories fit neatly into the two part lidded box that has a brown, faux marble design. A faded name remains on the lid that is not readable. The belt shows light wear with some toning to the buckle while the Aiguillette remains in near mint, clean condition. The box remains solid with areas of wear and some soiling to the interior.
