#8954-HEER OFFICERS BROCADE BELT AND BUCKLE: A most fine example of the brocade belt ensemble as worn by Heer Officers with the dress & parade uniforms. The round, unmarked buckle and keeper are in matching zinc alloy that has aged to a pleasant grey tone. The woven aluminum brocade belt remains in clean & bright condition and measures 39 inches in length. The reverse of the belt is richly faced with fine dark green velvet having a leather sizing strap with embossed size marking of "90". the belt is complete with both matching slides, one of which has a protective grey cotton tab on the reverse. The sizing strap has two neatly applied tack stitches that were no doubt added to secure the keeper. Condition II+ $385.00
