#9098-HEER  AFRTILLERY MARKSMANSHIP LANYARD: An excellent example of the 1936 pattern Artillery Marksmanship lanyard (Schutzenschnur) in grade 8. It is of plaited, matte aluminum cording having a struck badge in aluminum finish. It has three small artillery “shells” denoting proficiency by Artillery and armored gunners. One of the shells is slightly different, which may indicate the grade was increased, it has both upper and lower button loops. The reverse of the cord has a protective covering of grey rayon tape with the badge having a facing of field grey wool. Shows minor age and wear, Condition II+ $225.00
