#13184-HEER LARGE SIZE WATER PITCHER: This large volume aluminum pitcher stands almost 15 inches in height and holds eight liters of liquid. These were used to dispense water to troops and for use in field kitchens. It is of solid aluminum and bears a 1936 maker and Heer Waffenamt stamping. There is also a crudely engraved "8" no doubt added to indicate the size which was not marked by the maker. The pitcher shows light age toning along with various areas of surface and interior wear.
